If the wheels spin free in opposite directions it makes me think its somthing other than the diff...

Gear diff full of black grease from the factory. Probably completely packed as well

I've experienced the same issue you are talking about feeling like there is a bind. It is normal for a brushless motor to not spin freely when no power is on. You can test this by removing the pinion gear and then checking for smooth free movement without power.

When u turn both wheels does it feel like its clicking? If so its probably like paul said and is just from the strong magnet in the motor.

it's a team associated rc10t4.2 rs. it is the same motor that is in my buggy and you can feel something mechanically wrong some where

it should feel really similar to your buggy......try what Paul said....remove the pinion and see if it still feels bound up......
