I got the stadium truck out today. there was tons out traction at the track. the stadium did really well out of the box, but either the motor or tranny is in a bind. turning both wheels in one direction while unplugged from battery is very restricted, but turn only one wheel, the opposite wheel spins in the opposite directly very freely. this makes me think it is the motor. what do you think?

Sounds like a bearing somewhere.pull the motor then try and turn it and then the wheels.

Yep motor or tight mesh....does it run good? Coast when ur off thottle or does it stop likr ur braking

it actually runs really good, but acts like it has 90% brake drag.. even with no battery lol

Need to figure out if its a ball or gear differential. Everything may be ok considering they spin freely in opposite directions. If its a gear diff it may be packed full of grease opposed to fluid. If its a ball diff it may be over tightened or not broken in
