A few things have been brought to our attention recently that we want to go ahead and address before they get out of hand:
Turn Marshalling- If a marshall sets you down in the wrong lane it's your responsibility to wait a fair amount of time due to your wreck. This is not an opportunity to make up time or eliminate the time wasted by wrecking. If you gained a position you will wait until that car has passed you and then continue on.
Batteries - Were aware that some of the SCT guys are running 3 cell lipo's in their trucks. We also understand that some of you are doing everything possible to race and 3 cell may be all that you have. The enforcement of 3 cell lipos is going to start in the very near future. We don't allow them. Its unfair to the racers who are abiding by the rules so I would suggest to start phasing them out of your race gear.
Reverse- No reverse is allowed at the track, anytime, period. Not even on practice nights. Even last night we had several occasions where people backed out into oncoming traffic.
Radio Placement on the drivers stand- No part of you or your equipment should hang past the railing. Your blocking others peoples vision. I know it can be a hard habit to break but when the person next to you ask you to move your radio then move your radio. And guys don't be shy to tell them they are blocking your view
I'm not tryinig to be a Nazi here but these are all issues that take the "fun" factor out of it for the other racers. These are legitimate complaints that have been brought to our attention by others during the past week so lets try to keep it fair and clean. Last thing we want to do is start docking peoples laps.
