I'm interested in trying to do Wednesday night racing. As many people as we're getting on Wednesday we are almost at the point of having controlled practice. If we're doing controlled it might as well be on the clock. I think it would really help everyone's racing and get you comfortable doing five minute runs opposed to staying on the track for 20 minutes with multiple classes and excessive amounts of vehicles out there, and then having to let your battery charge for 30 minutes. Plus your guaranteed turn Marshall's.
I was thinking 5-7 minute rounds of qualifying and let the computer tally points for overall finishes. Racing from like 7-9. Would any of you guys be interested in this format? Just a thought because it seems like some of the practice nights are just really counter productive.

I would be all in as long as i can afford to anyway lol, richard and i are on a weds and sat rotation anyway but zach prolly wont be comin much cause of school through the week.
Between my savox servo and ballistic 4.5 when timing, the best i can do is 12 min under moderate running on a 5000 mah 50c pack my truck sucks the power.
But richard and i have 3 batts a peice so we should be ok my cycle time during raceing in 5 min heats is 80-90 min under 5 amps.

Damn son. Lol. Wednesday racing would only be $5 so it's the same as practice. Just thought it would help some of the guys out. Maybe it will happen once the weather turns

I would be open to whatever format as long as it gets us out quick.I just think it would be better than regular practice with 15 cars on the track.

can the scoring system be setup to run through the whole round on its own clock set it for 3mins between races and dont wait for anyone ....when the computers starts the race.... if your not ready ...sorry about your luck ...get your stuff ready instead of 10min bs session....that will for sure speed things up....and everyone will be on time ....carolinas rc track set the system to run itself and it was great ....when people think that you will wait for them to get ready they take advantage ...just my opinion

We can make it roll. We have tried to be fair about giving extra time because of so many new racers but I think were on the ball now. Our biggest time waster now is house transponders but even that issue is getting better week by week.

I think the first night was a success. We accidentally made the races too long but from now on we will be on the ball. Our goal is racing at 7 and being done by 9. Thanks to everyone for keeping the program rolling. I know it's a much faster pace than we are used to but we started after 7, and had 21 entries. I stayed and watered the track and was leaving before 10pm. Not bad

I run the velenion in my 4wd and it does good...i would get the gearing right for the track and if you dont have one installed put a fan on the esc.
